Hi! I'm Andy Hiccup, and I would be delighted to come and entertain at your child’s party. I will astound with a full fun fantastic comedy magic show, amaze with balloon modelling, organise games, competitions and dancing, entertain with puppets, thrill with close-up magic for kids, and will provide so much fun and hilarity that your child’s birthday really will be the best day ever.

I will captivate your children and impress you adults with my ability to seamlessly run the entertainment at a children's party, leaving you positively stress-free and happy throughout. At parties I entertain children up to 10 years old, and older siblings and grown-ups will also enjoy my magic too!

Party Plans

If you would like anything different at all from what I suggest here then I would be more than happy to oblige and change the party schedule to suit you. Above all, the most important thing is that all the children have an incredible amount of fun, everyone is thoroughly entertained and that the birthday child gets to feel very special on their birthday.

A TWO HOUR PARTY:

The first hour: A few welcoming tricks and giggles for the children as they arrive, then I gather them all together for an interactive puppet show. After this we play a party game together followed by my amazing fun magic show (with loads of silly comedy, audience participation and impressive magic).

The second hour: After a quick five minute break to pack away the magic show I make balloon animals for the children while they are eating their party tea. Once I see most of the children are down from the tables I launch into super fun party games, and I provide my own quality music speaker system for this.

If there’s not enough time to make all the balloons during food then I finish off making balloons in the last ten minutes, and I will happily lead the singing of “Happy Birthday” when the birthday cake appears unless you wish to do it yourself.

A ONE AND A HALF HOUR PARTY

This is usually the magic and puppet shows for the first hour, followed by either half an hour of games or half an hour of balloon modelling (if you have fewer than 15 children you can have both!)

A fantastic 45 minute show followed by 15 minutes of party games. A one hour party show is available at off-peak times.

WHAT I NEED

On the day itself all I need is a sturdy table, on which I place my magic suitcase, with a plug socket nearby. If you have no table available please let me know as I can always bring my own (but it does help me out enormously if I can use one of yours). A stool or chair is also helpful, but not essential. Thanks. I bring 10m of my own extension cable and can always bring more if you think I need more. Thanks.

I am Enhanced DBS checked (though entertainers don't actually need to have one any more as the laws have changed) and have public liability insurance of £10m.

I cover a wide area of the South of England, including South London (including, of course, SE and SW London), Surrey, Sussex, West Kent and parts of Central London, Berkshire, Essex and Middlesex too.
